The new Mercedes-Benz GLC is with us for a good time. But we didn’t had the AMG versions. Until now. The performance division has officially unveiled its version of a sporty SUV.

The new AMG GLC is available in two variants: the AMG GLC 43 and the AMG GLE 63 S E Performance.

The first one uses a 2.0 liter engine and a mild-hybrid system for a total of 416 horsepower. The 48V system adds another 13 HP and 200 Nm of torque at lower speeds. The car uses a nine speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.

The top of the line, the GLE 63 S E Performance is some sort of a beast. The same 2.0 liter petrol unit delivers 481 horsepower, but thanks to an electric motor mounted at the back, the total power goes up to 671 HP. There are also 752 pound-feet of torque.
