In order to compete with BMW M Performance division, who brought us the magnificent BMW M235i, Mercedes officially launches the AMG Sport Division.
 
The special range of vehicles will try to fill the gap between the standard range of models and the performance AMG versions. The AMG Sport cars will be opening up new customer groups and segments and will feature uprated engine output, all-wheel drive as standard in selected markets and special chassis components and brake systems from the classic AMG models.
 
Signature AMG driving dynamics and a highly emotional driving experience will be included. The first AMG Sport units will be here sooner than we think, more exactly during next year Detroit Motor Show, scheduled in January.
