The Australians will find the current Mercedes E-Class more appealing with the introduction of the new Special Edition.

The edition was introduced quietly and is based on the current E250 and E250 CDI versions of the German sedan. To be more attractive for Australian clients, the E-Class Special Edition features a new steering wheel, dressed in leather and wood, together with a special leather upholstery.

The equipment list includes heated front seats, illuminated front sill plates, a panoramic sunroof, some nice music played from a Harmann Kardon Logic 7 audio system and many aluminium inserts.

On the outside, the Special Edition replaces the standard wheels with 19 inch alloys wearing the AMG logo.

According to Mercedes Australia, the new E-Class is already available to order with price starting at 103.800 AUD for the petrol E250 and 106.300 AUD for the diesel E250 CDI.
