After it premiered during last week Paris Motor Show, the 2015 Mercedes AMG GT is now on sale in its mother land. The supercar set to replace the old SLS AMG is now available at a starting price of 115.430 euro for the standard GT version.
We remind you that the standard GT comes with a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine rated at 462 horsepower and 600 Nm peak of torque. As a result, the car can sprint from stand still to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.0 seconds, while the top speed tops 304 km/h (188 mph).
Those who want some extra performance, can choose the Mercedes AMG GT S version, which will offer something insane under the hood. It comes with the same engine but this time it develops 510 horsepower and 650 Nm peak of torque. As a result, the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is done in 3.8 while the top speed is electronically limited to 310 km/h (193 mph). The price for this version starts at 134.351 Euros.
For those who want to add some customization for the GT S, Mercedes offers the already popular Edition 1, available for a year since the official launch. It includes black Nappa leather interior with red contrasting topstitching, performance seats, Interior Black Diamond package, aerodynamic package in black, carbon-fibre roof and Night package. Price for the Mercedes AMG GT S Edition 1 starts at 148.512 euro.
