According to a recent report published by a German newspaper, Lamborghini Urus equipped with the V8 is almost sold out. Don’t worry, the car will continue to exist, but starting 2024, the Urus will receive a plug-in hybrid version.

Currently, Lamborghini is selling the Urus in two flavours: the S and the Performante. Both of them are using the V8 4.0 liter twin-turbo petrol unit with 666 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque.

But in 2024, the Italian manufacturer will drop the V8-only versions and will produce only the PHEV.

The new plug-in hybrid will continue to use the V8 4.0 liter, but we don’t have any other technical details.
