Lamborghini has officially unveiled the all-new SC63. This new model was developed with one purpose: to compete in the endurance series at top level.

As you may have heared, since 2022, the top cars in endurance racing are called hypercars and can be in two forms: LMH (Le Mans Hypercar) and LMDh (Le Mans Daytona Hybrid). This dependes on the development strategies.

The new Lamborghini SC63 is a LMMh which means it uses a chassis from one of the four companies approved by FIA. IN this case, we are speaking about Ligier.

Under the hood is a new twin turbo V8 3.8 liter engine. As per the FIA regulations, the combustion engine must have a hybrid part which is provided by Bosch. In total – also specified in FIA regulations – the hybrid powertrain will deliver a maxim of 680 horsepower.
