Kia is introducing the electric Soul to the US. The zero emission Soul is the first electric Kia sold on the US market and starts at $33,700 USD.
The standard car has an estimated range of 93 miles and MPGe4 of 92 miles on the highway and 120 miles in the city (105 miles combined).
Expected to go on sale this fall, the new Kia Soul EV comes standard with UVO EV Services7, which provide real-time battery-level status, distance to empty, and the ability to search for nearby charging stations. It also offers EV-unique leather trimmed seats, which are tri-level heated and ventilated for front passengers, while the rear outboard seats are heated for added comfort.
The car will be offered in two versions. Along the standard Base trim level, Kia Soul EV will also be offered with Plus trim level, that adds fog lamps and power-folding outside mirrors. The price for this version is $35,700 USD.
