Infiniti unveiled the Q80 Inspiration Concept during this year Paris Motor Show as a preview of its future design strategy.
The car will rival models like the Audi A7, BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe or Mercedes CLS as its measures 2010 mm (79 in) width, 1340 mm (52 in) high and 5060 mm (199 in) long. Inside, driver and passengers are ushered into four individual seats via wide opening portal-style doors.
The futuristic look continues also inside with a simplified driver interface unique head-up display. The front passenger also has an HUD for display of external information via a smartphone connected to the vehicle’s telematics system.
Each rear passenger has a touch screen positioned in the rear of the front seat rest to tap into their on-board entertainment package. There is further futuristic approach under the hood also, as the Q80 Inspiration features a hybrid powertrain.
It features a downsized twin turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 and electric powertrain. Boasting 550 hp, the hybrid architecture is capable of returning fuel efficiency in the region of 5.5L/100km (42.8 mpg) and CO2 emissions of about 129g/km.
