The Dieselgate investigation has started with German prosecutors raiding Volkswagen’s headquarters. According to our colleagues from Automotive News Europe, the raid was conducted by three prosecutors and about 50 police officers.

The prosecutors have targeted several Volkswagen office buildings and a few private residences in Wolfsburg in an effort to find documents and storage devices related to the Dieselgate scandal.

As you may have read, Volkswagen is reportedly cooperating with the investigation and the officials have already handed over a series of documents to the authorities.
