Ford has published a teaser picture of the upcoming Mustang GT4. According to the US manufacturer, the model will be unveiled on June 28 at the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium.

Like the GT3 variant, the new Mustang GT4 will start in life as a Dark Horse model. After that, Multimatic Motorsports will transform it into a proper race car.

For now, Ford hasn’t gave us any technical details, but in generally, the modifications for the GT4 class include revisions to the suspension, and a not so tweaked engine compared to the street one. As you would expect, the Mustang GT4 will use the V8 5,0 liter unit.

There will also be some aerodynamic tweaks, but keep in mind that the GT4 will not be as fast as the GT3.

At this very moment, in the GT4 class are a lot of car manufacturers with representative models. There is Apline A110, BMW M4, Lotus Emira, McLaren Artura, Nizzan Z or Toyota Supra. These kind of GT4 races and championship are all over the world.
