Dodge has announced that the production of the Viper will resume in mid-November at the Conner Avenue plant in Detroit.

As you may have read, at the beginning of last month Dodge disclosed plans to shave off $15,000 USD from the price tag of all unsold 2013 and 2014MY Vipers. In addition, the customers that already have bought the car will receive a $15,000 USD coupon which will be available until January 2, 2018.

All these actions have helped Dodge to sell 108 Viper is September which is much better than the 38 units sold in August. More than that, Dodge has also received almost 200 orders for the all-new 2015 Viper.

As a result, the production will restart in middle of November. Initially, only the GT and SRT trim level will be manufactured while the TA and GTS versions will resume production once the stock of unsold 2013 and 2014MY models decline.
