Citroen developed a chariot inspired by the 2CV

Citroen will collaborate with the producers of the upcoming movie “Astérix & Obélix: The Middle Kingdom”. According to the French car manufacturer, a design team has worked closely with Pathé, Trésor Films, and the Editions Albert René in order to develop a special war chariot for Astérix & Obélix.

This new vehicle was inspired by the 2CV, and you can see cleary that.

As you probably read, “Astérix & Obélix: The Middle Kingdom” will be the latest movie adaptation of Asterix, a French comic book series published in 1959 by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo.

In case you didn’t know, the Asterix saga has 15 films and cartoons, with over 25 million viewers in France and over 70 million worldwide.
