Autocar has done a quick review of the Chrysler Delta, a Lancia designed and engineered car which represents Fiat’s answer to the Ford Focus.
The model tested by Autocar is the diesel version 1.6 M-JET 120 SR which costs 21,195 GBP and outputs 120 bhp at 4,000 rpm and 222 lb-ft of torque at 1,500 rpm from its 4-cylinder 1,598 cc unit.
The Chrysler Delta weights 1,485 Kg, comes fitted with a six-speed manual gearbox and its performance and economy figures are 10.7 seconds from 0 to 60 mph, a top speed of 120 mph, 60.1 mpg in a combined cycle (UK rating), and CO2 emissions of 122 grams per Km.
Even though it is well specked, it is pretty nice to drive and it offers plenty of space, Autocar thinks the Chrysler Delta is pretty good as a package but it is not really exceptional in any way and there other cars in its class that could be recommend over it.
