As opening day for the 2011 Detroit Motor Show approaches, GM is publishing more photos with the vehicles scheduled to be on diplay at their stand.
We,ve seen a few sketches with the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Race Car around two weeks ago, so now the North American automaker is offering real images with their Sports Car Club of America World Challenge contender.
Johnny O’Connell, a three-time GT1 champion in the America Le Mans
Series, and Andy Pilgrim, who won the 2005 SCCA World Challenge GT class
in a Cadillac, will be behind the wheel of the CTS-V racecars. The
first on-track tests will be conducted in late January at Sebring
International Raceway.
Mechanical details regarding the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Race Car are still kept secret, so stay tuned for more info at the time of the show.
