According to our colleagues from Motortrend, the upcoming Cadillac ATS-V+ will come with impressive performances and with an unique look.

Speaking with Dave Leone, Cadillac chief engineering, the hotter Cadillac ATS-V+ will be offered with the larger LS7 7.0 liter V8 engine. We are talking about the same motor that powers the fifth generation Camaro Z/28. In the latest model it deliver 505 horsepower and 651 Nm peak of torque and we could see some important updates.

The engine will deliver its power to a seven speed manual gearbox or to an eight speed automatic transmission. As a result, the new ATS-V+ will be more faster than the current ATS-V, a model that can run from stand still to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and can deliver a top speed of 304 km/h.

According to the same sources, the upcoming Cadillac ATS-V+ is expected to be unveiled as a 2017MY.
