According to BimmerToday, the all-new BMW X6 M managed to lap the Nurburgring Nordschleife in 8 minutes and 20 seconds. As you may have read, the 2015 BMW X6 M comes with a V8 4.4 liter engine that can deliver 567 horsepower and 750 Nm peak of torque.
As a result, the German SAC is able to run from stand still to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.2 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 250 km/h (155 mph).
Despite still unofficial, this information is quite interesting given the fact that last year BMW M project manager Herbert Bayerl revealed the vehicle is as fast as the M3 Coupe (E92). But the M3 E92 managed to lap the same track in 8 minutes and 5 seconds and the X6 M is close to the performance of the M3 E46 which lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 8 minutes and 22 seconds.
Another important fact is that the Nurburgring management has established some speed rules and those might have influenced the lap time.
