BMW wants to attract wealthy buyers who like to customize their car with extras that cost a lot of money. One of the most expensive things that you can buy is special paint called Pure Metal Silver that will set you off 8000 euros, the equivalent of $10,300 USD, when you select it from the BMW M6 Gran Coupe Individual options list.
 
Why so much money for this paint? BMW says that the material used to prepare it is 40 times more expensive than regular paint. It also offers a metal look and a brightness that you can hardly match.
