BMW published some info about the summer updates. And the most interesting news I found are about the 2 Series Coupe and M3.
According to the German car manufacturer, starting this summer, both models will get the iDrive 8 (or BMW 8.0 Operating System). And this software improvement comes with a big hardware change.
From now on you’ll have to say goodbye to the two screens on the dash because you’ll have the new curved display. It is made of from the 12.3 inch instrument cluster and the 14.8 inch digital panel mounted under the same glass piece.
Under these conditions, we can say that the future M2 and M3 Touring will use the same layout. Maybe this was the trigger for this important change.
