Audi has already announced that starting 2026 the company will launch only electric cars. Why? Because the German car manufacturer will phase out models powered by combustion engines by 2033.

In order to reach the target, Audi has announced that all its plants will start build electric vehicles from 2029. Don’t worry, because Audi already builds electric cars in Böllinger Höfe (Germany) and Brussels (Belgium) sites.

Next year, the electric cars will be manufactured in Ingolstadt, while withing the next six years, EV production will commence at Neckarsulm (Germany), San José Chiapa (Mexico), and Győr (Hungary) plants.

According to Audi, new factories will be built only in regions where additional production capacity is needed.
