This year, Aston Martin will celebrate 100 years since Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford give birth to the Bamford & Martin Company. To celebrate this beautiful age, the British car maker has lots of plans for this year and the first surprise is the Vanquish Centenary Edition.

"Clearly, the centenary of Aston Martin is a great occasion for our business, our customers, and our fans around the world. It is only right, then, that we have developed these exceptional Centenary Edition models which will, I am sure, quickly become highly desirable and sought-after. The chance to own and enjoy such a stunning piece of Aston Martin’s heritage is made all the more rare by the fact that we are limiting numbers to just 100 of each model line. I am sure supporters and enthusiasts of the brand worldwide will be anxious to secure their chosen model quickly!" said Dr. Ulrich Bez, Aston Martin CEO.

All Aston Martin models will get this treatment and each one will be limited to 100 units. The Aston Martin Vanquish Centenary Edition features a unique bespoke graduated paint finish. The whole painting process requires 68 hours, 18 hours more than the regular paints. On the inside, the customers will have Deep Soft black leather upholstery, while the Aston Martin logo will be stitched on the head rests.
"The team has looked closely at the individual contour lines of each of the cars to determine not only the right colors and shades, but also to create a template by which the paint changes from dark to light and where the graduated effect sits", explained Aston Martin Design Director Marek Reichman.
