Acura is working on a new Integra Type S. According to the manufacturer, the presentation of the new model will took place later this year.

In order to keep the fans happy, Acura has decided to promote the future car in a special event: the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. A prototype of the future Integra Type S lead the 61-car field.

After the car finished its job, it was placed on display at the World Center of Racing.

Until now we do know that the model will continue to use the 2.0 liter engine, but we expect the power to match the match the CTR’s 315-hp output. Torque should be around 310 pound-feed value, while the engine resources will be sent to the fron wheels via a manual transmission and a limited slip differential.
