German tuner AC Schnitzer has set a new world record at the Narco high-speed circuit in Italy with their customized BMW 3.5d Coupe.
The AC Schnitzer BMW 3.5d Coupe managed to reach a top speed of 288.7 Km/h, beating the previous world record for the fastest road legal diesel car by 8.7 Km/h.
The AC Schnitzer BMW 3.5d Coupe features a power upgrade as well as a range of special accessories that are TUV approved and available in BMW dealers.
Along with the AC Scnitzer BMW 3.5d Coupe the tuner also tested their ACS4 3.5 turbo based on the BMW Z4 sdrive 35i on the giant oversized circle at Nardo which reached a maximum speed of 303.1 Km/h.
