Mercedes-Benz has published the pricing list for the entry-level SL. It is called AMG SL43 and in the US will have a starting price of 111,050 with destination fees, and before options.

As a result, the car is 27,500 USD cheaper compared to the SL55 and a whooping 68,200 USD compared to the top of the range SL63. But there is a reason why.

Under the hood is a 2,0 liter petrol unit which features some F1 turbo technology. The unit delivers 375 HP and 354 pound-feet of torque channeled to the rear axle.

The convertible model can run from not to 60 in 4,8 seconds, while the top speed is electrically limited to 170 mph. The new SL43 will arrive at the dealers this summer.
