Nissan is readying new updates for the 2022 version of the Maxima. As the flagship of Nissan’s vibrant sedan lineup, Maxima enters the 2022 model year on a roll. Maxima was named as the best overall model in J.D. Power 2021 Initial Quality Study2. Maxima also was rated number 1/Best in Initial Quality among Large Cars for the fourth straight year in a row. It also achieved a 2021 Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and was named to Parent’s Magazine’s “Best Family Vehicles” list.

For the 2022 model year, Scarlet Ember Tintcoat exterior finish replaces the previous Carnelian Red Tintcoat and the Maxima Platinum grade adds standard heated rear seats.

The 2022 Maxima is available in SV, SR and Platinum grades. Standard content includes leather-appointed seats, Nissan Door-to-Door Navigation and NissanConnect Services powered by SiriusXM (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately). Every Maxima also comes equipped with standard Nissan Safety Shield 360 and a 300-horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine and Xtronic transmission.
