Ford has officially unveiled the 2016Explorer Platinum SUV. According to the Blue Oval, the model is set to arrive at dealerships next month.
The 2016 Ford Explorer Platinum comes with LED headlights, silver-painted skid plates, a special dual-panel moon roof and unique 20 inch two-tone alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin the 2016 Ford Explorer Platinum features perforated Nirvana leather seats, ash wood accessories and brushed aluminum accents. In addition, customers will find a heated wood / leather steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster and a 500-watt Sony audio system.
Under the bonnet of the 2016 Ford Explorer Platinum is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that can deliver 365 horsepower and 474 Nm peak of torque. The unit is matted to a six speed automatic transmission and to a four-wheel drive system.
