Car of the Year jury has published the list with all the candidates for the 2016 European Car of the Year title. All the candidates are new vehicles on sale now or before the year’s end in five or more European markets.

Just like any other edition, the list will be reduced on December 1st and then a short list with seven finalists will be announced on December 14th. The winner of the 2016 European Car of the Year will be announced during the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

In 2015, Volkswagen Passat was named European Car of the Year while in 2014, Peugeot 308 was the winner.
