2015 Skoda Fabia officially entered production today, at Mlada Boleslav Plant in Czech Republic. The first Skoda Fabia who rolled of the line was a Race Blue painted unit, that passed all the final inspections.

Even so, the first Fabia cars will reach the European market in November, after a public debut scheduled for this year Paris Motor Show.

The new generation Fabia introduces a new emotional design language combined with a larger interior and the biggest boot in the segment: 330 liter, which is 10 liters more than the previous record holder, Dacia Sandero.

Thanks to a weight loss process and to a new range of efficient engines, the new Fabia uses up to 17 per cent less fuel, compared to the previous model.

Inside the cabin, the 2015 Fabia benefits from infotainment systems borrowed from higher vehicle segments. For the first time, a Skoda can easily be paired with a smartphone via MirrorLink technology.

Having sold approx. 3.4 million vehicles to date worldwide, and being the Czech brand’s bestselling car after the Skoda Octavia, the new Fabia has to follow the success path of its predecessors.
