Unveiled for the first time during this year Detroit Motor Show, the all new 2015 Mercedes C-Class will reach the US market during this fall.
The US market will receive a model built in the US, as Mercedes C-Class offically entered Tuscaloosa’s, Alabama, assembly line. Here the car will be produced alongside the current generations ML, R-Class and GL.
Even if its almost identicall to the European version, the US-built Mercedes C-Class will only have two petrol versions. First will be a turbocharged, four cyilinder 2.0 liter engine, delivering 241 hp and 310 Nm. The more powerful version will use a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 with 329 hp and 479 Nm torque.
To be ready for C-Class production cycle, Tuscaloosa’s engineers and workers went in Germany to learn al the secrets that lie behind the new car.
