After it refreshed the Fiesta and the Focus, appealing to young European customers, Ford is applying the same treatment to Ford C-Max, the compact family car that has been on the market for almost four years.

The new 2015 Ford C-Max is ready to adopt the new face of the brand, with a trapezoidal grille, big and imposing. It is similar to what we see on the new Focus.

The front end also has a revised spoiler, chromed inserts and new fog lights. The headlights will also be redesigned, being more sweptback. The changes will be noticed also at the back.

The engine range will resemble that of the current Focus, with new 1.5-liter Ecoboost engine being delivered in two power versions: 150 and 180 hp. Those who want a diesel will be treated with a 1.5 TDCi or with a 2.0 TDCi. The entry-level diesel will have 95 hp, while the top end version will deliver 163 hp.

The interior will have a different trim level, the standard equipment list will be enriched, while the safety systems we see on the Focus will also be introduced on the C-Max.

For Americans, the C-Max is only available as an electric vehicle: the C-Max Hybrid and C-Max Energi.   Overseas customers will have different powertrains and two wheelbase lengths to choose.   Set to make a public debut during Paris Motor Show, the new C-Max is expected to be joined by its bigger brother the Ford Grand C-Max that is longer and has seven seats.
