Who wants to buy a Mercedes S-Class when you have its little and more affordable brother: the C-Class. This is the idea CNet is trying to underline in their review of the current generation C-Class.

The medium segment sedan was tested along its C400 version, with 4Matic and automatic transmission. The journalists say that the new car is a huge improvement over the old generation.

Exterior

The 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is featuring an S-Class face with some CLA and E-Class style. The German model features a long hood, shorter overhangs and more flowing lines. Overall, the fourth generation C-Class is modern and will attract additional younger buyers.

Interior

Inside the cabin, everything is premium and luxurious. The three circular air vents, the premium materials, and the all-new 7- or 8.4-inch display are only a few newbies added by Mercedes in the new C-Class. The infotainment functions can be controlled via a rotary controller which now offered as standard.
