The Japanese automaker has released photos and details with the US bound Toyota Land Cruiser which received ‘significant enhancements for 2013’, and which will go on sale later this year.
Starting with the exterior the new Land Cruiser features an updated front grille and headlamps with HID low-beams, LED daytime running lights, redesigned door mirrors and tail lamps, chrome side moldings and a set of 18-inch alloy wheels in a new design and covered with a high-gloss finish.
The updated interior of the 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser in available in either Sandstone or Black and the additional refinements that are now offered include perforated leather trim and ventilated front seats, a brighter instrument panel, a higher gloss wood grain finish and chrome-plated air registers. 
Convenience features now also include a Multi-terrain Monitor with front, side or rear selectable views,
a new Multi-information Display, an Eco Driving
Indicator light and
zone display, a heated steering wheel; Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, an
additional power outlet (DC 12V) at the rear of the center console; and a
rear cargo deck power outlet that has been changed to AC 120V from AC
115V.

In terms of motorisation, the 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser will continue to use the automaker’s 5.7-litre V8 which means there will be 381 HP and 401 lb-ft of torque sent to the wheels via a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The company did however improve the systems that control the vehicle’s 4×4 traction, and also  equipped the car with new systems such as the Multi-terrain Select and the new five-speed CRAWL Control with an Off-Road Turn Assist feature helps make traversing difficult terrain easier.  
Pricing for the 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser was not announced, but that could change in case this facelifted version decides to show its face at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show next week.
