Apart from the LF-LC design study, a second vehicle that was brought by Lexus at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show is the facelift version 2013 LX 570.
Lexus’s revamped luxury utility vehicle comes with the new spindle grille, new daytime running lights, larger fog lamp bezels, updated tail-lamps, refreshed bumpers, newly designed alloy wheels, rear-view mirrors that with integrated turn signals and wider bodyside moldings.
On the inside the 8-passenger SUV got upgraded with the new Easy Access system for the driver’s seat, which retracts the seat and the steering, a 120-volt power outlet added to the middle row, an updated instrument panel and a new color display. Mahogany wood trim and two new exterior colours (Medium Gray Pearl and Satin Cashmere Metallic) are also part of the changes applied on the 2013 Lexus LX 570.
Under the bonnet the facelift model will be equipped with the same 5.7-liter V8 from the previous version, which means we are talking about 383 HP at 5,600 rpm and 403 lv-ft of torque at 3,600 rpm. The transmission responsible for putting the wheels into motion is an electronically-controlled six-speed automatic.
