The German tuning house DMC has officially revealed the first teaser pictures of the upcoming Lamborghini Aventador LP988 Edizione GT package.

For now details are limited but the images suggest the Italian supercar will come with a carbon fiber front splitter, carbon fiber canards and with a unique carbon fiber rear wing.

Furthermore, we also see a revised pair of side skirts, an aggressive rear air diffuser and a new exhaust system. There is no word on performance figures but the LP988 name suggests the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based supercar could produce 988 horsepower.

As a reminder, the base version features a 6.5 liter V12 engine which can develop 700 horsepower and 690 Nm peak of torque. Under these conditions, the car can sprint from zero to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 217 mph.
