The British press is revealing details regarding the future generation Saab 93 that will be reintroduced in 2012.
Expected to feature a new platform the 2012 Saab 93 could enter the arena as a competitor for the Audi A3 and as far as motorisation, rumors are reporting that Saab’s deal with BMW could place the Bavarian sourced 1.6-litre 184 BHP engine under the bonnet, or the 1.6-litre diesel 112 BHP currently used in the new Countryman.
The 2012 Saab 93 will also come with a limited slip differential and the new XWD (Cross Wheel Drive), plus the car’s starting price tag should be around 18,000 GBP.
