As the 2011 Ford Fiesta ST has recently been spied during tests at the Nurburgring, the British press has published new info regarding the new generation supermini.
The 2011 Ford Fiesta ST features an 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine with EcoBoost that should develop around 200 bhp, so estimates are saying that accelerating from 0 to 60 mph should take close to 6.0-seconds while top speed is expected to be around 140 mph.
The 2011 Ford Fiesta ST will feature an Ford RS style front, a lowered suspension, wider front and rear tracks, bigger exhaust pipes and an aggressive looking diffuser.
At the interior the 2011 Ford Fiesta ST will be offered with Recaro sport seats at the front and market availability is expected to start early in 2011.
The 2011 Ford Fiesta ST price is unknown, but is should be close to what its main rivals cost, meaning the RenaultSport Clio 200 and the Volkswagen Polo GTI.
