The crew from iMotorTV got their hands on the 2011 Audi A8 and shot a review video presenting the goods and bads of the new generation.
The 2011 Audi A8 extracts its juice from a 4.2-litre TSI V8 that produces 372 HP and 445 Nm of torque, and power is sent to the wheels via a 8-speed Tiptronic transmission. This enables the German luxury saloon to reach 100 Km/h from a standstill in 5.7 seconds while as you probably guesses, maximum speed has been limited to 250 Km/h.
When compared to the previous generation the 2011 Audi A8 is 15% more efficient and some of the toys at the interior include the new MMI operating system that supports handwriting, a radar-operated automatic proximity control system or the high-end Bang and Olufsen audio system.
