Police in Bangor, Maine are congratulating a local hero after a 12-year old boy stole a school bus and did a Grand Theft Auto scene. According to the Bangor Facebook page, John St. Germain III and his girlfriend were driving around town when they noticed a school bus that was driven by a child.

Just like a natural move, they have followed the bus and contacted the police. The 12-year old boy hitted a few curbs and street signs and came to a stop in an intersection. As a result, John jumped out of his car and went straight to the bus.

Short time later the police arrived and the 12-year old boy was taken into custody. For now we do not know what kind of charges he is facing but the department says John’s actions "probably saved much property damage and even injury or death to an innocent driver or the (not so innocent) driver of the bus."

As a result he will be awarded with Bangor Police Department challenge coin.
