A car whose original purpose was nothing more grand than to offer a more conventional alternative to the Corvair, the Chevy II Nova was an unglamorous but sturdy economy car, but one which had quickly developed an enthusiastic following as performance addicts began sliding V8s into the engine bay even prior to GM's offering the option in 1964. The Nova was light, well balanced, and fitted to a full frame the car offered a level of inventive customization which many of its high performance siblings did not.
Featured here, "Prince of Darkness" is the culmination of years and well over one-hundred-thousand dollars worth of time and financial investment. Painstakingly prepared, this nut and bolt built 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova wears panels so straight they seem to have been cut from billet, the deep Tuxedo Black paint has been exceptionally prepared and demonstrates a glass like finish, while the interior has exceptional fitment and preparation.
