What is RSS and why use it?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and it is an automated system that makes it easy
  • for websites to share headlines and stories with other sites
  • and also for websurfers that use RSS news readers (aggregators) to save time by receiving regularly updated web content gathered in one place for easy reading on the topics in which they are interested
How to use RSS?
Setting up a RSS feed may vary from one reader* to the other but in the end it is an easy process.
To be exact the process involves:
  • clicking on the RSS icon Subscribe to this feed using your favorite reader on the page you want to subscribe to
  • copy the URL of the feed
  • paste the url of the feed into your reader*
*the RSS news reader can mean either a web based reader such as Google Reader or My Yahoo or a RSS reader software such as Feed Demon or NewzCrawler.
