The Swedish car maker Volvo has officially unveiled the production version of its S60 Polestar. The performance version of the S60 sedan is coming with an inline six T6 3.0 liter engine that outputs 350 horsepower at 5.700 rpm and more than 500 Nm between 2.800 and 4.750 rpm.

The power is sent to the ground via a six speed automatic transmission with launch control and thanks to a Haldex four wheel drive system.

TO achieve this performance, Polestar tweaked the T6 Volvo engine. They took care of the unit’s software and installed a new intercooler, a Borg Warner turbo and a new exhaust system. Under the architecture we see a front/rear stabilzer, rear tie blades, spring and strut brace reinforced with carbon fiber.

The sprint form stand still to 100 km/h is done in 4.9 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.

For the moment, the S60 Polestar will go only in Australia and the deliveries are expected to debut in late June.
