Volvo has unveiled today the first pictures of the 2015 XC90 cabin. As you already know, the new generation of the Swedish SUV will be launched in August. 

The 2015 Volvo XC90 interior is described as the most luxurious cabin ever designed by the Swedish men. It features an uncluttered configuration as most of the buttons have been replaced by a large tablet-like touchscreen display, similar to what Tesla is offering in the Model S.

The new 2015 Volvo XC90 will be offered with a seven seat configuration and a gear lever made from crystal glass by Swedish glass maker Orrefors. Furthermore, the SUV will feature diamond-cut controls for the volume and start/stop button.

In addition, the cabin of the 2015 Volvo XC90 will features soft leather upholstery, wood accessories, aluminum elements and a fully digital instrument cluster. The Swedish manufacturer has also installed a four-zone climate control system which will come with a voice recognition and Apple’s CarPlay system integration. 

According to Volvo, the new generation of XC90 will be revealed in August, and it will be assemebled starting early next year in Torslanda plant in Gothenburg, Sweden.
