Last week we saw a few leaked pictures with the Volkswagen Golf Variant. Now, the Wolfsburg model has been unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The new Golf Variant is lighter than its predecessor and has a longer wheelbase of 2.636 mm.

The new German break has 4.562 mm long and its cargo area measures 1.054 mm long, or 1.831 mm with the rear seats down. Because we are talking about a break model, you should know that the boot has a capacity of 605 liter and 1.620 liter when the rear seats are folded down.

Under the hood we will find the same engine lineup existing on the hatchback version. We are talking about the gasoline units that are available in 85, 105, 90, 122 and 140 hp, and about the diesel engines that can produce 105, 110 and 150 hp.
