After it announced that its apprentices are working on a new concept car for the Worthersee fan reunion, scheduled next month, Volkswagen introduces some teaser images of a future concept, called GTI Supersport Vision GT.
It might be just a coincidence or the concept that we see today might be the work of Volkswagen apprentices and the surprise car we will see in Worthersee. Volkswagen does not offer information regarding the identity of the concept, but says that the car will also make a virtual debut in GranTurismo 6 game.
The concept is based on the three-door Golf and offers a hardcore body kit, more wider, that also includes a huge front splitter, flared wheels arches and a big rear wing. All of these components are made from carbon fibre. The concept will also feature full LED headlights and an exhaust system with two tailpipes.
The engine will most probably be a 3.0 liters VR6 TSI unit, delivering an impressive 503 hp and 665 Nm, sent to all four wheels with the help of a 4Motion all-wheel drive and a seven-speed DSG.
