Volkswagen introduced today the all new Golf Alltrack model, set to make its official debut next week during Paris Motor Show.
The second Alltrack model in Volkswagen range, the 2015 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack features a low-profile radiator grille crossbar, "Alltrack" badge designed in matt "Black", lower cooling air intake in the redesigned bumper, underbody protection in "Reflex Silver", dark-red rear lights, side sills, painted in same matt Reflex Silver, 17-inch "Valley" alloy wheels designed specifically for the Volkswagen Alltrack models and black wheel arch mouldings.
The interior boasts leather-trimmed steering wheel and gearshift lever, custom seat covers with the "Alltrack" badge on the backs of the front seats, accents in "Dark Magnesium" on the centre console and "Tracks" for dashboard and interior door trim, as well as ambient lights in the doors.
The new VW Golf Alltrack will be available with four engines, one TSI and three TDI`s. The petrol unit is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, delivering 180 hp, equipped with a 6-speed dual clutch gearbox (DSG) as standard. The entry-level diesel is a 1.6 TDI with 110 PS which consumes just 57.6 mpg (equates to 127 g/km CO2).
The 2.0 TDI unit is offered in two power versions: one with 150 hp and one with 184 hp. The first has a combined fuel consumption of just 57.6 mpg (127 g/km CO2), while the second delivers sporty driving performance: 7.8 seconds for the sprint to 62 mph and 136 mph top speed.
