The German car maker Volkswagen has released a new photo gallery and a set of details about the new Golf 7 GTD. You already know that the diesel version of the GTI is coming with a 2.0 liter turbo unit that can deliver 184 horsepower and 380 Nm peek of torque.

In standard, the Golf GTD comes with start-stop system and a six speed manual gearbox. According to Volkswagen the car can do 100 kilometers with just 4.2 liters and emits 109 grams of CO2 per kilometer. 

The sprint from stand still to 100 km/h is done in 7.5 seconds while the top speed is clocked at 230 km/h.

The new Golf 7 GTD is fitted as standard with XDS+ differential, progressive steering, sport suspension, bi-xenon headlights with cornering function, climatronic and Driver Alert System.

Among the optional equipment, the German car maker is offering a sound actuator that modifies the exhaust sound, a navigation system with Google earth and Adaptive Cruise Control.
