Volkswagen has unveiled today the new E-Up!. We are talking about the electric version of the super mini German model that will have its world premiere at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The new E-Up! will have a range of 150 kilometers, with 30 minutes being necessary to recharge the batteries to 80 percent. 

The electric engine is developing 80 hp and has a maximum torque of 210 Nm. The sprint form stand still to 100 km/h is done in 14 seconds and the top speed is clocked at 135 km/h. 

The electric engine will run on an 18.7 kWh battery set integrated in the underfloor adding 150 kilos to the car’s overall weight.

The new Volkswagen E-Up! will be recognized by its new front bumper and its unique 15 inch polished alloy wheels. Inside the cabin the Germans have chosen light-grey upholstery with blue top stitched seams.
