Tanner Foust
, co-host of the American version of Top Gear, has officially unveiled his brand new Volkswagen Passat drift machine that will be used in the 2015 Formula Drift competition in Long Beach this weekend.

Exterior

On the outside, the new Passat comes with a Rockstar livery and with a massive APR Performance rear wing. In addition we see a five-spoke KMC wheels wrapped in Nitto NT05 max performance tires.

Interior

Inside the cabin all the accessories have been removed in order to house the new roll cage. In addition we see Recaro seats a Sparco steering wheel and a Plex SDM-500 digital instrument cluster.

Powertrain

Under the hood is a 450 cubic inch V8 unit rated at 700 horsepower or 900 HP on nitrous. The engine is matted to a G-Force GSR four-speed transmission which sends power to the rear wheels.
