Volkswagen has published today the first pictures and the first details about the 2013 Golf Sportsvan Concept. The new prototype will be officially unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and it’s previewing the upcoming generation of the Golf 7 Plus. 

According to the German officials the new concept is 134 millimeters long than the previous generation of the Golf Plus and 83 millimeters long than the actual Golf 7 hatchback. The wheelbase has risen with 48 mm compared to the actual Golf 7 and the cargo capacity is 498 liters with the back seats up. 

After the folding, the cargo capacity is increased with 87 liters. The upcoming Volkswagen Golf 7 Plus will be available with six engines with outputs ranging from 85 horsepower to 150 horsepower.

As you figured up, the most frugal version will be the one equipped with the 1.6 liter TDI BlueMotion and 110 horsepower. According to the German officials it can run 100 kilometers with 3.7 liters. 

The safety features that will be available on the Golf 7 Plus will be Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control, City Emergency Braking and others.
