Recently installed as coach for Liverpool, Jurgen Clopp starts to benefit from Vauxhall sponsorship. Jurgen Klopp will drive a Vauxhall Insignia in his new role with the Anfield club.  In its role as ‘Official UK Car Partner’ of Liverpool Football Club, Vauxhall Motors extends the welcome to its newest signing.

Jurgen Klopp will continue his role as an Opel/Vauxhall Ambassador alongside names such as Bryan Adams and Claudia Schiffer. Klopp has become a firm trademark with the Opel brand, supporting its portrayal of ‘sculptural artistry meets German precision’ with Klopp featuring on a business class flight promoting the Opel Insignia as well as putting the Opel Mokka through its paces on the track.

Opel has even credited Klopp with turning round its fortunes in the country, saying his role as an ambassador helped boost sales of its Insignia model by 35 per cent in 2014.

However, the 48-year old’s biggest challenge might not be managing Liverpool FC’s biggest players such as Sturridge, Henderson, Benteke and Coutinho but mastering driving a right-hand drive car on the left-hand side of the road.

Rory Harvey, Chairman and Managing Director of Vauxhall Motors said: “Klopp knows our business, he’s a car man and he most recently supported us at the Frankfurt Motor Show as we launched the all-new Brit built Astra. It’s great for both Opel and Vauxhall that he’s driving a Vauxhall Insignia and we wish him the best of luck at Liverpool Football Club.”
