The popular SUV will make its public appearance on November 28 at 9 am, during the official press conference held at Toyota stand.

To welcome the new model and to prepare its public debut, Toyota released a teaser video that showcases the main design lines of the future car. The fourth generation RAV4 will be designed to “feel good” and to “embody sophistication and strength”.

Additional information is limited, but the model is expected to be slightly larger than its predecessor and ride on an updated version of its current platform.

On the US market we will see an updated version of the current 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine, developing more de 180 hp. The top of the range petrol engine will be a 3.5 liter V6 with 270 hp.

In Europe, the engine range will be rounded by a 2.2 liter diesel engine, known as D-CAT. The chassis will also be improved, offering front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive options.
